Today you’re looking for an urban location in a country that has a mountain on its national flag and more vowels than consonants in its name. The country enjoyed its most successful Olympics ever last year in Japan. Equilongitudinous with a 20th Century dance and equilatitudinous with a large firearm-shaped island, I’m about 400 metres from the walls of a prison and 2000 feet from a statue of a soldier. The soldier has a grenade in one hand and what looks like a HK33 in the other.

Oof, this is a tough one for me. I might have to come back to it with a fresh brain. It really doesn’t help that I don’t know how to count vowels and spent 30 fruitless minutes in an entirely wrong country.

Monkey ahoy! This was a quick one for me, maybe 20 minutes total. After guessing the country it only took me about 5 minutes to find the spot.
Appropriate trees ahoy. Quite a long one in the end for me, definitely over an hour spread over several sessions. Pretty quick to get the general location and then after a bit of fruitless searching the doubts started and almost every island looks firearm-shaped if you squint hard enough.
