Where am I?

Using the following clues (the map above is purely decorative) in combination with Street View, work out my location.

Although Roman, THC’s chief puzzlewright, would be interested to know how long it takes you to solve this solo foxer, he’d rather you didn’t put spoilers or solutions in the comments.

Today you’ll find me in a country that has the same number of stars on its flag as stripes, and fewer land border neighbours than any of its land border neighbours. On a thoroughfare too narrow for a car, I’m 45 metres from a fire brigade 4×4 and 350 metres from a statue of a man who died in the 18th century. Closer to a Catholic church than a football pitch, and nearer to a lighthouse than a post office, I’m in a town popular with tourists. I could transform said town into a fish by adding a certain SI symbol to the end of its name.

You’re probably in the right place if you can see…

  • Fish
  • A green wall
  • A blue wall
  • An orange wall
  • A yellow Renault Master
  • A pair of cherry red Doc Martens
  • A man working on a red Riya Spider
  • The word “MATRIX”
  • The Adriatic

I’m not in Pont-à-Mousson.

(Last week I was here)
