Commandos: Origins under fire
Commandos: Origins’ first day in ‘enemy territory’ could have gone better. Slathered with ineffective bug repellent, encumbered by a pretty hefty price-tag, and lacking useful kit like rucksacks and D-IX pills, Commandos-4-in-all-but-name has found the past 24 hours a trifle trying.

Normally, when I have a nagging question about a PC wargame – a question that the manual or forums can’t answer – I go direct to the developer for edification. Where foxes trot – a war gaming news miscellany
In a couple of weeks’ time millions of freshly unfurled beech leaves will render OP Foxtrot useless as a news gathering vantage point. Until that green explosion happens, I’ll continue to traipse up there every morning with my binoculars, notebook, inflatable cushion, and flask of tea.
