C looks like part of an enormous circle – everything is a bit curved, as well as having all its insides on show…
I’m thinking maybe something like the CERN collider, but can’t find a suitable pic…

My guess for D is the Viking Ring fort (Trelleborg) near Slagelse in West Zealand.

I’m stumped as to what kind of building C is.
I did think airport (people queuing for security?) but that doesn’t look right. The old school industrial look suggests a non-modern building.

looks like IT of some kind. A lot of electrical/ICT and air ducting on all the walls too.
Looks like something has been installed in the middle of the space that the people are queuing up for.

Maybe it’s a tunnel under Apple Park?
I thought at first that it was a train/underground station deliberately made to look industrial.
Late to the party, and probably either unhelpful or flat out wrong, but I get this funny feeling that it’s in Japan somewhere. I swear if you zoom in on the flag thingo and squint it kind of looks like there’s some hiragana or katakana in there.
No answer to C but I appreciate going down the google image path of both list of largest accelerators and in what countries are traffic cones with a black square base and 3 white stripes common (the answer seemingly is nowhere…) 🙂
