Wembley Stadium could seat the entire population of the city I’m in today. Said city is slightly closer to a neighbouring country’s capital than its own, and has a name that anagramises as ‘Zap local rivals’. Spain boasts more than twice as many provinces as the country I’m in (said country’s Wikipedia page includes photos of a gold mine, rock art, and a polo player). Talking of provinces, the one you’re searching for has seven neighbours and no green on its flag.  You’ll find me on a road that shares a name with a US state. 1260 feet from an unusual bridge, I’m closer to a theatre than I am to a police station, and closer to a bus station than a casino. Equilatitudinous with a river that shares a name with a British seaside town and transport aircraft, I’m equilongitudinous with an island that inspired a 1905 novel.
