Where am I?

Using the following clues (the map above is purely decorative) in combination with Street View, work out my location.

Although Roman, THC’s chief puzzlewright, would be interested to know how long it takes you to solve this solo foxer, he’d rather you didn’t put spoilers or solutions in the comments.

Today I’m on a street that’s 1.3 km long and is named after a man who founded an important (in this region) co-op. The street is in a town that shares a name beginning with the letter M with a Royal Navy pre-dreadnought that didn’t participate in WWI. The town is in a province that has, amongst other things, an extinct ungulate on its coat of arms. The province is in a country that has never returned from an Olympic Games with more than ten medals. Currently in Brasil, the president of said country is a septuagenarian Scorpio who’s fond of a particular breed of domesticated animal. The nearest vineyard to my location is less than 200 metres away, the nearest olive grove under 300 metres. The closest petrol station is a Caltex.

You are probably in the right place if you can see…

  • Four large keys
  • Pink blossom
  • A bushy tail
  • A drum kit
  • Dutch gables
  • A person with no legs
  • A cloudless sky
  • Several buildings constructed in the 1930s
  • The word ‘Romany’
  • The words ‘TENNIS PLAYERS’
  • The words ‘Perfection in paint’

(Last week I was here)
