Where am I?

Using the following clues (the map above is purely decorative) in combination with Street View, work out my location.

Although Roman, THC’s chief puzzlewright, would be interested to know how long it takes you to solve this solo foxer, he’d rather you didn’t put spoilers or solutions in the comments.

Today I’m standing close to a T junction in a city that has been mentioned in a THC article in the past seven days. The most famous product of this city is a liquid, and one of the city’s most famous sons is a cosmonaut. Under a mile from a perpetually wet strongman, and about 1.5 kilometres from a chilly arena, I’m roughly 300 metres from a factory that makes skis. According to Google Maps the nearest vehicle charging station is WNW of my location and is closer than the nearest post office.

You are probably in the right place if you can see…

  • An elephant
  • A wooden staff
  • A wooden begging bowl (?)
  • A green man
  • Purple hair
  • A trolleybus
  • A steam locomotive
  • A cycle lane
  • A 100m-long footbridge accessed at one end by a curved ramp
  • The word ‘POZOR’

(Last week I was here)
