Friday Foxer #173

This week’s handmade co-op puzzle won’t defox itself. If you’re a dab hand at quizzes, lateral thinking, and search engine sleuthing, why not help out.

    • It’s not an SU100, it’s a tank of some sort. A younger me would be ashamed of such an elementary mistake.

The plane is a Hawker Sea Fury.

I think the whole museum is about the Bay of Pigs.

  1. First stab at a link but it’s a bit vague – Lancashire.

Happy Valley the TV series starred Sarah Lancashire
Whilst the nearest blue plaque in K is about the music studio, the far one on the building opposite is for Gracie Fields, or The Lancashire Lass.

  2. Shades of Queen Victoria’s Dogs all over again.

Some answers fit Robert Plutchik’s wheel of emotions,
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emotion_classification#Plutchik.27s_wheel_of_emotions
some need crowbarring to various extents:

    Fit well:
    E. AWE = Automobil Welt Eisenach
    J. ECSTASY = St. Francis in…
    K. JOY Division
    L. TRUST tower

    Close:
    B. FURY – Hawker Sea…
    G. ENVY = N.V. tower

    Really reaching:
    A. PEACE ? – not on the list
    D. HAPPY ? – not on the list
    H. TERROR – lesser used club nickname is The Terrors
    i. VICTORY – too obvious?

    Still not identified:
    C.
    F. (somewhere in Africa)
