Unlike the formidable Friday foxers, the Monday kind are designed with lone truth sleuths in mind. While Roman, my Chief Foxer Setter, would be very interested to know how long it takes you to defox today’s brainteaser, he requests that the comments section isn’t used to share solutions or drop hints.
“Where am I?”
Using the following clues (the map above is purely decorative) in combination with Street View (all Solo Foxer solutions are Street Viewable), MAPfrappe, and other online tools, work out my location. The answer will appear under next Monday’s solo foxer.
Today, I’m in a country that has a higher population density than the UK and a lower country calling code. The country’s flag has something in common with the flags of Chad, Romania, and Mali. About two and a half kilometres from a large reptile, eighty metres from the nearest tram line, and one hundred metres from the nearest electric vehicle charging station, I’m a three and a half hour hike from the nearest national border. If I was to walk five metres eastward I’d be equilongitudinous with a sexagenarian airliner manufactured in San Diego.
You’re probably in the right place if you can see…
- Sand
- Jesus
- Jostle stones
- Caterpillar tracks
- A Claas tractor
- The word ‘JACHTEN’
- A rusty anchor
- A substantial war memorial
- A white Citroen Berlingo
- A roundabout
- A massive buoy
- The ‘Elisabeth’
I’m not in Pont-à-Mousson.
(Last week I was here)
JACTHEN ahoy! About 40 minutes this week. Found the general area fairly quickly but took a little longer to find the spot. (Mostly because I forgot about some of the clues.) Thanks, Roman!
