Every Friday at 1300 hours, Tally-Ho Corner’s cleverest clogs come together to solve a ‘foxer’ handcrafted by my sadistic chum and colleague, Roman. A complete ‘defoxing’ sometimes takes several days and usually involves the little grey cells of many readers. Don’t be shy. All are welcome to participate.
To fully defox the following geofoxer, identify all twelve locations plus the theme that links them.

J – Waterloo Place, Edinburgh (link to google maps)
Well, sort of – the building on the left hand edge is in Waterloo Place, the next side of a building North Bridge, and the rest Princes Street 😀
I mean, the photo’s taken on the A1, which has the name Waterloo Place at that point; the theme is probably looking for the building in it, but I take your point.
Yes, I was just being locally pedantic – there’s too many names around there, and not a lot of Waterloo Place in the picture. Go a bit further along again and it decides to be Regent Road, then probably something else again…
K – Balham tube station
J is the Balmoral (old North British) hotel in Edinburgh
L – People’s Park, Ballymena (link to google maps)
Where your brother met Karl Marx?
Honestly, I’m surprised I’m not in this foxer somewhere, given my (actual) name.
L – Five Apples sculpture, Ballymena

H – Balliol College, Oxford (link to google maps). Lots of Bal- words, here…
Given the Bal- theme I’d say I is the Baltic Centre in Gateshead

A – Queen’s Winery House, Balchik, Bulgaria: https://goo.gl/maps/Pdih4oDEGNRWYoKAA
If D is a ruin in Ireland that starts with Bal then that only narrows it down to about half of them…
D – Balvenie Castle, Dufftown, Scotland: https://goo.gl/maps/ftj1PEcegQq5aaLp6
It was very Scottish looking, but I had half my mind on other things today 😀
