Using the following clues (the map above is purely decorative) in combination with Street View, work out my location.
Unusually, today’s puzzle comes in two forms. If you’re feeling intrepid, only consult the ‘DIFFICULT’ set of clues.
(DIFFICULT)
Today I’m standing outside a detached four-bedroom house that’s named after a six-legged creature that does a very convincing impersonation of a dead leaf.
You are probably in the right place if you can see…
- A crossroads
 - A small palm tree
 - A red Kia hatchback
 - A dormer window
 - Rhododendron blooms
 - Bluebells
 - Gorse
 - The words ‘STANTON AND STAVELEY’
 - The number 01872
 - A roll-up piano?
 - No pedestrians
 - No road markings

(MUCH EASIER)
Today I’m standing outside a detached four-bedroom house that’s named after a six-legged creature that does a very convincing impersonation of a dead leaf. The house is for sale and will, I predict, sell for £420K before the year is out. The nearest bus stop is 200 metres away and is on the 36S route. The nearest in-use railway station is about three kilometres distant and has a photo of a dark green Class 150 DMU on its Wikipedia page. I’m less than one kilometre from the outskirts of a village that shares a name with a species of falcon.

(Last week I was here)

A crossroads ahoy! Easy mode for me. A good job too because I’d misunderstood something about the clues and would never have got there the hard way.
