Using the following clues (the map above is purely decorative) in combination with Street View, work out my location.
Although Roman, THC’s chief puzzlewright, would be interested to know how long it takes you to solve this solo foxer, he’d rather you didn’t put spoilers or solutions in the comments.
Today you will find me on a stretch of two-lane road aligned NE-SW. Said stretch is edged with double yellow lines, and has a pavement on one side only. Roughly 5.25 kilometres from a bronze statue over thirty metres tall, and around 5.25 miles from a prison that has had a Nobel Peace Prize nominee as an inmate, I’m approximately nine miles from a 3 ft gauge railway where trains are hauled by fake steam locomotives.
You are probably in the right place if you can see…
- Boulders
- Artificial islands
- Jersey barriers
- Razor wire
- A large yellow catamaran
- Red fire hydrants
- No pedestrians
- A 200m-long building constructed in the Nineties
- The letters ‘NCA’
- The number ‘668’
- The letters ‘B-LCO’
- The word ‘PACIFIC’
(Last week I was here)
Boulders ahoy! Probably a little under 30 mins this week.
Yellow catamaran ahoy! Took me around 30 minutes, I had a hard time finding the country but relatively fast once I found it.
