A wargame I branded “insightful, innovative, and intense” in April, 2025, gains its first adjunct next week. If you’d like to acquire said adjunct without disturbing wallet moths, this competition is for you.

Cottonbaler-free and fascinated by Operation Coup de Main, Burden of Command add-on Three Nations is due to arrive next Tuesday. Three of its four scenarios focus on ‘Pegasus Bridge’, the crucial canal crossing audaciously snatched by glider-borne Brits in the early hours of D-Day. The fourth challenge is set on the other side of the Normandy beachhead and recreates a US paratrooper action with the help of high-quality Band of Brothers-reminiscent FMV sequences.

In addition to the unfamiliar battlefields, combatants, and presentational flourishes, buyers can expect “more aggressive and persistent AI” and new gameplay subtleties such as intrinsic smoke mortars and MGs. Intriguingly, they’ll also get the chance to gather intel in and around Benouville using a bicycle-equipped member of the French Resistance!
In order to win one of the three Three Nations Steam activation codes Green Tree Games have donated to the Corner, you’ll need to do some intel gathering too. Below is a list of ten things visible from this Street View spot. The things have been stripped of vowels and any inter-word spaces. Send me (tim at tallyhocorner.com), by midnight GMT Feb 24, proof that you’ve decrypted seven answers, and your name will go into the hat for the following day’s prize draw. Supply me with all ten answers and your name will go into the hat twice.
As usual, only one submission per person, please, and no answers in the comments. Best of luck!
