This week’s handmade co-op puzzle won’t defox itself. If you’re a whizz at quizzes, lateral thinking, and search engine sleuthing, why not lend a hand.
To fully defox the following geofoxer, identify all twelve locations plus the theme that links them.

Re: C.
The propaganda poster suggests Vietnam.
My feeling is that the plane is a MiG-21 (or Chengdu J-7) as that green tab on the tailplane is quite common, however no other insignia are visible on the tail.
I suspect the fencing is meant to represent a lotus flower.
All that said, I don’t think this is closer or further away than any other MiG-21 on a plinth:
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Mig_Fighter_On_Building_(14433491404).jpg
(Link needs copying-and-pasting. Sorry)
That’s about as far as I’ve got in more than two hours of defoxing. The plane has missiles (white) and looks to be at quite a jaunty angle. Like you I’m pretty sure it’s a MIG-21 and it’s got a green nose. There are quite a lot of MIGs out there and I feel I’ve looked at all of them except this one.
