Today I’m on a street named after a person who has appeared on a Uruguayan postage stamp. Roughly 690 metres from a swing bridge built in the 1950s, and 750 metres from a railway station with ten platforms, I’m in a city that hit headlines in late 1940. The city has an encumbered aquatic mammal on its coat of arms, and an Oscar-winning demonym. The female PM of the country you’re seeking has visited the US three times this year.
