Where am I?

Using the following clues (the map above is purely decorative) in combination with Street View, work out my location.

Although Roman, THC’s chief puzzlewright, would be interested to know how long it takes you to solve this solo foxer, he’d rather you didn’t put spoilers or solutions in the comments.

Today I’m in a small village in a national park. The first two letters of the village’s name are also the first two letters of the national park’s name. The country you are seeking has a female president, a photograph of an unusual amphibian on its Wikipedia page, and shares borders with EU members only. The nearest restaurant to my location is about 125 metres away, the nearest shop approximately 200 metres distant. Once you’ve discovered today’s spot, Roman recommends you move the Street View jelly baby 280 metres northwestward as the view from the footbridge there is rather lovely.

You are probably in the right place if you can see…

  • Sunshine
  • Snow
  • Yellow flowers
  • An orange backpack
  • A folding ladder
  • A chopping block
  • A bird table
  • A red VW Golf TDI
  • Two mountain bikes
  • A tin of Beltop UV Plus
  • The number 42

(Last week I was here)
