Today you’ll find me on an island that has a flowery flag, a smaller population than Guernsey, and has been ruled by Germany and Spain in the past. On a windy road that takes its name from a local peak, I’m about 426 metres above sea level and the same distance from a bilingual information board titled “Death in the Valley”. Within four miles of my location there’s a cathedral, two jails, and three tanks that haven’t moved in roughly eighty years. The nearest steam locomotive is less than two miles away and approximately WNW of my location.

A wiggly wall ahoy! No obvious starting point this week, but a bit of random Googling* lead to a likely candidate island and then the answer. About half an hour or so.
